The Warmth of Life
In this image I hope to convey a feeling of calmness and relaxation. A decent portion of my life has been spent outside and I hope to share the calming nature of the outdoors. With my first layer the stop sign, I mean to represent that you have to slow down some times in life and that you must think about the "bigger picture". When you slow down your thoughts, take your visual and mental blinders off and look at the world, you will be surprised at the beauty of the scenery and life all around you. With my second layer the metal fleur de lis, I mean to represent community and unity. In my personal experience I have found that the scouting community welcomes everyone and joins everyone together to create a whole and joyous community. In my third layer the sunrise I mean to represent the calmness and peacefulness of life. When looking at a sunrise I find myself to be more sleepy and relaxed. The calming nature of the light reflecting off of the water and clouds makes me feel more at home than I usually feel. With my fourth layer the bat, I meant to imply that you have to have fun in life. Without taking a break from work and having a little fun, you will not be able to have a full life full of joy. In conclusion, I believe that being a happy person that has spent lots of time having fun and caring for yourself is very important to become your full self. In this image I believe that I am conveying that in one of the best ways that I can.
